Some more dense than others, but good value and quality
Most of these pens provide a decent coverage on first pass, though some darker ones needed a 2nd coat, at which point that can slightly rehydrate the first layer and cause a little clumping, but on the whole, I was quite impressed with coverage and quality. The paint is quite opaque and adheres well even to glossy surfaces. The choice of nibs on each pen is really useful, with the larger one for dot painting or larger coverage and the brush tip for finer detail. They’d be particularly good as a gift for a keen/talented child or teen looking to broaden their experience of different art/craft materials.

An amazing level of line control
On opening the box I found 18 pens in a nice range of colours. Then, with nothing more than a quick shake, found they could be instantly used. No need to press down tips or poke anything to wake them up.Using them was also nice and easy. Either just paint quickly wide areas with the felt tip style. Or draw with the narrow tip, which feels like a mixture of brush and pen. The latter really being the strong point of this set. With care the level of line control on these is outstanding. Just the merest touch is like using a 0.3 brush, but with a consistent thickness. There’s a couple of downsides, namely the thinness of the paint it can require several passes to build up a solid layer of colour. Otherwise you might get a patchy block of colour, especially when overpainting other dry acrylic paints. Plus some areas tend to dry with a chalk like feel, while other areas look wet.Though despite the downsides, I really like these paint pens, especially the line control they give.I just hope the contents last long enough to be useful, especially as they are not re-usuable.

Good For Kids Crafts – Decent Quality Pens
These paint pens are not the best quality if you are looking for artist quality paint pens, but they are perfect for kids crafts and quick design needs. I ordered these to use on wood slice ornaments I have, I wanted to paint/draw images on them. They work okay, but they have very low opacity – which means they are relatively transparent. So, it takes several layers to make these cover the wood grain. After testing these, I decided that I will most likely use my standard paints and brushes simply for the quality of the piece I am creating. These are not a total loss though, even though they aren’t up to the task I had wanted them for. They are still decent quality, and would work best on smooth surfaces, with clear or single tone backgrounds. These pens would work great on glass. They also wash off easily, so they are great for kids to use for crafts and even “painting” on paper. The paint flows smoothly, and the pens are all ready to go. You don’t have to pump the tip several times like you normally do with paint pens. I like the dual tip as well, thick on one end and fine on the other. That makes it easy to go from one stroke style to another, for instance these pens easily go from coloring to outlining or lettering.

Effective colourful Acrylic paint pens
I didn’t expect too much from these inexpensive pens, but they turned out to be surprisingly good! The choice of ends is a particularly good idea, allowing quick selection of dot or brush strokes. Unlike some acrylic pens, these worked straight out the box, no need to press the nib to make the ink flow. The colours are many and varied, a range that should accommodate the needs of most budding artists. The ink flow is consistent and gapless, providing a nice finish to your work. The images demonstrate the quality to be expected. These show a rock painted without the use of a primer undercoat. With undercoat, these colours would be even more vibrant. This sort of coverage from a budget item is truly impressive. The inclusion of a paintable canvas bag is a nice bonus. The set contains eighteen pens at a cost of less than £1 per pen, that’s really good value for money.

Smooth flow, bright colours, great for beginners
Great starter kit for anyone wanting to experiment (like me, I haven’t done any art for over two decades). Art materials can be so expensive, these are affordable, I will enjoy using them and not worrying about wastage compared to how much some art materials cost… Although I will bear in mind how long they will last as there is only so much paint that can fit into that tube! Acryclic paint dries fast, so I also need to be aware the nib can dry out fast. Anyway, it is a good place to start. and had a little play – they feel nice, they flow easily, I will go find me some more peebles and do a few more, they are just perfect for peebles.Bright and fun, great for kids and adults. Good price, very happy!

Lovely variety of colours
A couple of these I felt had dried out on first use, the green for example and I wanted to draw a Christmas tree.I’ve clearly coloured in my windows. A window per family member, they’re all double ended and we all have different ideas. They wipe off easily with water but I’ll use hand sanitizer if it sticks. Been up a week now and no problems. It’s even rained and hasn’t washed off. Perfect for what I needed. Thanks.

Great colours, comes with a material pen case.
I wanted to experiment with inks, paints and pens, so this is on the testing pile, at present! The pens are dual tipped, one finer and one thicker nib on each end. Ideal to use for general art, colouring. or card making. For best results, black card shows up neons and metallic colours very well.Good for the price – recommended. 🙂

Nice set with included pencil case.
Good selection of shades. Many are quite pale or lighter. Two ends, one is fine (still quite a lot of paint comes out) and the other is “Dot” which makes fairly fat lines or spots. On either end the surface is wetted a lot which would suggest limited life.Free cloth bag to store is a nice touch. Not really for kids.

Nice present
Nice, small collection of acrylic pens. They have 2 different tips either end for fine and block work. Used for ceramics, metal, fabric, glass the list goes on. Non toxic so safe with the little ones and comes with it’s own storage case.My daughter has the more, very expensive versions. So these are good for the beginners.Recommended

Great for model painting
I love using these acrylic pens to add details to my models. The fine tips are perfect for adding fine details if you aren’t steady with a small paintbrush. These pens also have a thicker end to them so can be used for larger surface coverage. The paint flows well and the dried results are very good. Lovely bold colours too.

A nice set of acrylic pens
This set of pens is dual tipped and comes with a handy little pencil case. The acrylic pens have a thick and thin nib per colour. They are perfect for a whole range of crafts. They are much easier to use than paints but you get the same effect. They are a good price too.

Would suit older children to help with creativity
Would suit older children to help with creativity.Young children could easily damage these pens if they pressed too hard as they painted, or if they didn’t put the lids on squarely and securely once they’d finished with them. These pens paint easily, I didn’t find any issues with any of them arriving dry, they all worked both ends, straight out of the box. You don’t need to pump them to get them to work, they work very similar to felt tip pens, but they are a little more wet, because they are paint pens.I’ve tired them on paper, watercolour paper, card, MDF, wood, glass, plastic, ceramics and metal. You also receive a zipped pencil case with these as well. Some of the colours are a little transparent on non porous surfaces and one or two colours separated on plastic.I’ve found they work best on porous surfaces such as watercolour paper. I also found that once fully dry, the slightest touch and the paint came straight off on the nonporous surfaces, please see my photographs.I know lots of people love to paint rocks, I don’t know how they would fair for that use, given they didn’t stay put when touched on the non porous surfaces I tried them on.I reviewed these when they were priced at £12.99.

Great double ended acrylic pens
This box of pens are acrylic and double ended. One end is a round nib, the other a brush nib. This makes them perfect for crafting as the colour pay off is strong and true. Good value as the ink runs well and smooth.
